ORDINANCE NO. 8704
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB - SECTION L OF SECTION 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 7023: DEFINING A MILK PRODUCT KNOWN AS
HALF AND HALF, ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT OF MILK FAT
TO BE CONTAINED THEREIN, LIMITING THE AMOUNT OF
BACTERIA PER MILLILITER, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. That Sub- Section L of Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 7023 is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following:
Sub - Section L (1) . Half and Half. Half and Half shall
be defined as a milk product consisting of a mixture of Grade
A homogenized pasteurized milk and Grade A homogenized pasteur-
ized cream, and shall contain not less than eleven percent (11 %)
of milk fat and not more than forty thousand (40,000) bacteria
per milliliter when delivered to the customer.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
"in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
