AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF PART
OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW16) OF THE NORTH-
WEST QUARTER (NW4) OF SECTION SEVEN (7), TOWN-
SHIP ONE (1) NORTH, RANGE TWELVE (12) WEST, TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, MAKING SAID ANNEXA-
TION A PART OF THE FOURTH WARD, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the territory annexed to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by Pulaski County Court
order on the 31st day of August, 1951, being described as
part of the Northwest Quarter (NWJ) of the Northwest Quar-
ter (NW4) of Section Seven (7), Township One (1) North,
Range Twelve (12) West, and being more particularly
described as follows:
The West Half of Block Seven (7), of the
unrecorded plat of Oak Forest Gardens, consist-
ing of Lots Twelve (12) to Twenty -Two (22),
inclusive. This property is located between
Buchanan on the West and the alley between
Buchanan and Pierce Streets on the East, 14th
Street on the North and 16th Street on the
South,
is hereby accepted, annexed to and made a part of the City
of Little Rock and is hereby made a part of the Fourth Ward
of said City.
SECTION 2. That all the streets and roads here-
tofore dedicated and shown in the respective plats and bills
of assurance now on file in the office of the Circuit alerk
and Recorder are hereby accepted by the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.

SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. In order that the
citizens in the affected area may be given adequate fire and
police protection by the City of Little Rock, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
