AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE
TEN (10) LEATHER COATS TO BE USED BY THE TRAFFIC DIVISION
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR ITS OFFICERS, AND ELEVEN
(11) UNIFORM OVERCOATS, OF THE TYPE NOW IN USE BY THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT, FOR USE OF OFFICERS IN THE CRIMINAL
UNIFORM DIVISION OF THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT,
AT A TOTAL COST NOT TO EXCEED HALVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
(1200.00), AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase
ten (10) leather coats to be used by the Traffic Division of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for its officers, and eleven (11)
uniform overcoats, of the type now in use by the Little Rock
Police Department, for use of officers in the Criminal Uniform
Division of the Little Rock Police Department.
SECTION 2. That the total cost of said leather coats
and uniform overcoats shall not exceed the sum of Twelve Hundred
Dollars ($1200.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
