ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF
ARKANSAS FOR EMPLOYMENT OF A PLANNING DIRECT(R WHO
WOULD GIVE HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY AND THE UNIVERSITY
RESPECTIVELY IN THE RATIO OF TIME AS TO THE RATIO OF
SALARY PAID HIM RESPECTIVELY BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
AND THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to enter into an agreement with the University of
Arkansas whereby a Planning Director would be employed and paid
both by the City and the University, and that his time would be
riven to the City and the University respectively in such ratio
as the compensation paid him respectively by the City and the
University. That the expenses of said Planning Director are to
be paid by the City when he is on City business and by the
University when on University business.
SECTION 2. That the Mayer and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to renew from time to time the above mentioned agreement
under the terms as listed in Section 1 above.
