AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND
ENTER INTO A LEASE - PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR FOUR (4)
GARBAGE TRUCKS WITH LOAD PACKER BEDS, TO BE USED IN
THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BED' it ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, s.<
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and execute
a lease- purchase agreement for four (4) garbage trucks with
load packer beds, to be used in the Sanitation Department of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, at a purchase price not to
exceed the sum of $35,006.00 in addition to the trade -in
allowance allowed',on four (4) K -5 International trucks.
SECTION 2. Said lease- purchase agreement is not
f tb..Atcood a period of twenty -four (24) months and the monthly
rental shell be paid at the rate of one- twenty - fourth (1/24)
of the total purchase price per month, with a provision that
all monthly payments sh�1,1 apply on the purchase price if the
City of Little Rock desires to purchase said equipment at any
time thereafter.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and
j this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
