AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 9L. OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS.. parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of the real property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
,that an improvement district be established for the purposes
hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by more than two - thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the CitIT Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property.in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 12 to 22, inclusive, in Block 5;
Lots 14 to 26, inclusive, in Block 6;
Lots 1 to 25, inclusive, in Block 7;
All in H. F. Buhlerls Ninth Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining„ curbing, guttering and paving,
in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to be

elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the
best interest of said district, the following part of the following
street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
ADAMS STREET from the South line of the
- present pavement on West Twelfth Street
to the North line of the present pavement
at the division line between Buhlerts
Ninth Addition and Pine Forest Addition;

and that the costs thereof, over and above any aid received f�rotn
any agency of the federal or city government be assessed and charged;,,
4 upon the real property above described, provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said District shall be known as Street Improvement District
N o. � _, and George R. ,P,Sorris, Robert 1.2. Cherry and Walter
I1. Wilson, Jr., are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose
the Board of Improvement for said district.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
