ORDINANCE N0. 8956
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO
THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND TWENTY -NINE DOLLARS
AND FIFTY -EIGHT CENTS ($2,829.58) FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PAYING THE RENTAL ON A TRUCK, MODEL
L-195, MOTOR NO. 28803, AND A LOWBOY TRAILER
FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1 TO DECEMBER 3 1, 1952,
WHICH TRUCK AND TRAILER ARE LEASED BY THE CITY
FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKAN SAS :
SECTION 1. The sum of Two Thousand Eight
Hundred and Twenty -Nine Dollars and Fifty -Eight Cents
32, 829.58) is hereby appropriated for the payment of
the lease- rental on one truck, Model L -195, Motor No.
28803, and one lowboy trailer for the six - months period
July 1 to December 31, 1952, which truck and trailer are
leased by the City of Little Rock for the benefit of the
Street Department.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the Cityts
warrant in the sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred and
Twenty -Nine Dollars and Fifty -Eight Cents ($2,829.58) to
the appropriate person, persons or corporation for the
payment of said rental on said truck and trailer.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
