AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 8953 TO INCLUDE TERMS UNDER :,HICH THE CITY
BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION MAY RECLADA CERTAIN CITY
PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES: AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 8953 shall be
amended to read as follows:
That after the costs "of developing this property for use as
automobile parking space have been recovered by the City through
rental charges for the parking spaces developed, the Mayor and
Council shall budget one -half (2) of'any further revenues from
this source to the City Beautiful Commission for furthering
their projects within the City} and that the Mayor and Council
shall return this property tothe City Beautiful Commission for
park purposes within six months of the Cammission's petition to
reclaim, no such petition to be filed, however, until the City

has recovered the cost of developing the property for use as
automobile parking space.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewit# are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
