AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($200.00) TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE
CITY ATTORNEY WHILE MAKING AN INVESTIGATION AT
HOUSTON, TEXAS, AND OBTAINING INFORMATION RELATIVE
TO THE SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY APPLICA-

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00) is hereby appropriated to defray the expenses of
0. D. Longstreth, Jr., City Attorney of Little Rock, while
investigating and obtaining information at Houston, Texas,
necessary to the successful prosecution on behalf of the
citizens of Little Rock of the rate application filed by the
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for increased rates in
the City of Little Rock.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor End the City Clerk
are hereby directed to issue the City's warrant in the sum
of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for the payment of said
expenses.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
