AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($2,000.00) FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING"
EXPENSES INCURRED IN A ,BARING TO BE HELD BY THE
PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSI'GN ON THE APPLICATION OF
THE SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY TO INCREASE
ITS RATES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
•IT ,ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKM SAS :
SECTION 1. That the sum of Two Thousand Dollars
($2,000.00) be and it is hereby appropriated for the purpose
of defraying expenses incurred in a hearing to be held
before the Public Service Commission on the Southwestern
Bell Telephone Company ►s application for an increase in
rates.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby directed to
. due the City's warrant in this amount to the proper
parties for the defraying of the expenses incurred in
opposing the rate application of the Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company before the Public Service Commission.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
