AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE
BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE TWO THOUSAND (2,000)
POUNDS OF 26 -INCH BROOM WIRE AND TWO THOUSAND
(2,000) POUNDS OF 26 -INCH CALABAR BASS FIBRE
FOR USE BY THE STREET CLEANING DEPARTMENT, AT
A TOTAL PRICE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF NINE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($900.00), AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and requested to advertise, take bids
for and purchase two thousand (2,000) pounds of 26 -inch
broom wire and two thousand (2,000) pounds of 26 -inch
calabar bass fibre for use by the Street Cleaning Depart-
ment of the City of Little Rock, at a total price not to
exceed the sum of Nine Hundred Dollars (900.00).
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall be in full force and e ffect from
and after its passage and approval.
