AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 7234 BY
ADJUSTING THE SALARY OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO THE
MAYOR FROM A MAXIMUM OF $49$00.00 PER YEAR TO A MAXIMUM
OF $4,9$0.00 PER YEAR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 7234,
be hereby amended by adjusting the salary of the Executive
Secretary to the Mayor from a maximum of $4,800.00 to a
maximum of $4,980.00 per year.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately and be retroactive to September 1, 1952•
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and unless pro -
�r-fsions 6f this ordinance are put into effect immediately,
the Public Peace, Health and Safety of the citizens of the
City of Little Rock will be adversely affected; therefore,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage .
