AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO._ IN ITS ENTIRETY,
PROVIDING THAT-MEMBERS OF THE FINANC COMMITTEE, SAFETY
COMMITTEE, UTILITIES COMMITTEE, HEALTn COMMITTEE AND PUBLIC
WORKS COMMITTEE, WHICH COMMITTEES ARE STANDING COMMITTEES OF
THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE CHAIRMEN THEREOF SHALL BE SELECTED
AND DESIGNATED BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY
COUNCIL; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
_ $ THE CITY COUNCIL ,A OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. �� 3S is repealed in its
entirety.
SECTION 2. That members of the City Council of the City of
Little Rock are hereby empowered to name the personnel of the follow-
ing Council standing committees:
a. Finance Committee;
b. Safety Committee;
c. Utilities Committee;
d. Health Committee, and
e. Public Works Comna,ttee,
and to designate the chairman of each of said committees.
SECTION 3. That the Finance Committee, Safety Committee,
Utilities Committee, Health Committee and Public Works Committee as
presently constituted are hereby dissolved on the passage and a pproval
of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and, since it is vital to the City's business ;?
that said committees shall have new personnel and new chairmen so that
the City's business may be properly carried on so that the peaces weft.

emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in

full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
