AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9006 OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, BY ABOLISHING THE POSITION
OF DRAFTSMAN IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
Y. ARKANSAS:.
SECTION 1. That the position of Draftsman in the
Engineering Department is hereby abolished by amending Section
9 of Ordinance No. 9006 by striking out the numeral 31 under
Range Number, the numeral 1 under Number of Employees, the
word Draftsman, the figure 240.00 and the figure 260.00 under
Minimum and Maximum Salary.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock
will be adversely affected; therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect as of January 15, 1953.
