AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9006
BY ABOLISHING THE POSITION OF SENIOR CLERK IN THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the position of Senior Clerk in
the Street Department division of the Engineering Department is
hereby abolished by amending Section 9 of Ordinance No. 9006
by striking out the numeral 15 under Range Number, the numeral 1
under the Number of Employees, the words Senior Clerk under the
Classification, and the figures 160.00 and 180.00 under the
Minimum and Maximum Salary, respectively.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock
will be adversely affected; therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect as of February 1, 1953.
