AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST LOT 14 AND
PORTIONS OF LOTS 1 AND 13, BLOCK 4, PLUNKETT'S ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, FOR THE USE OF THE STREET AT
8th AND JOHNSON STREETS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to bring condemnation proceedings against Lot 14 and
portions of Lots 1 and 13 of Block 4, Plunkett's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, for the purpose of acquiring said property
for use in the city street at 8th and Johnson Streets.
SECTION 2. That the property to be condemned is more
accurately described as follows:
1. Lot No. 14, Block No. 4, Plunkettls Addition to the City
of Little Rock.
2. That portion of Lot No. 11 Block No. 4, Plunkett's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 1, thence west 91 along
the north side of Lot 1, thence in a southwesterly direction to the
SW corner of Lot 1, thence east 271 along the south side of Lot 1,
to the SE corner of Lot 1, thence 1311 along the east side of Lot 1,
to the point of beginning.
3. That portion of Lot No. 13, Block No. 4, Plunkett's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot No. 13, thence south-
westerly to a point on the south side of Lot No. 13, which is 7 feet
west of SE corner of Lot 13, thence east 71 along the south side of
Lot No. 13, to the SE corner of Lot No. 13, thence north 1501 along
the east side of Lot No. 13, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in

conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
