AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE COURT REPORTER OF
THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL COURT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Effective the 1st day of January, 1953, the
salary of the Court Reporter of the Little Rock Municipal Court
shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month.
SECTION 2. The person occupying such position shall be
paid from such funds and in a like manner as are other employees
of the Little Rock Municipal Court.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this ordi-
nance are put into effect immediately, the peace, health, and safety
of the citizens of Little Rock will be adversely affected; there-
fore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect retroactive to January 1, 1953•
