AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FOOD AND MEAT DIVISION OF
SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9006 BY CREATING THREE
NEW POSITIONS OF MEAT INSPECTORS, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Food and Meat division of Section
11 of Ordinance No. 9006 is hereby amended to create three new
positions of Meat Inspectors by changing the following line from:
30 3 Meat Inspectors 235.00 255.00
To:
30 6 Meat Inspectors 235.00 255.00
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the Public
Peace, Health and Safety of the citizens of the City of Little
Rock will be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
