AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST LOTS 4, 9, 10,
11 AND 12 OF BLOCK 23, AND LOTS 7, 8 AND SOUTHEAST PART
OF LOT 9 OF BLACK 26, AND PORTIONS OF LOTS 2, 3 AND 4 OF
BLOCK 259 CAPITOL HILL EXTENSION ADDITION, AND ANY OTHER
PROPERTY WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE USE OF THE CITY'S
MATERIAL YARD LOCATED AT 6th AND DENNISON STREETS, LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to bring condemnation proceedings against Lots 4, 9,
10, 11 and 12 of Block 23, Lots 7, 8 and the Southeast part of
Lot 9 of Block 26, 'and the North 107 feet 2 inches of Lot 4, North
107 feet 2 inches of Lot 3 and North 107 feet 2 inches of the west
32 feet 7 inches of Lot 2, all being in Block 25, all in CAPITOL
HILL EXTENSION ADDITION to the City of Little Rock, for the purpose
of acquiring said property for use of the Cityls Material yard at
6th and Dennison Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That the property to be condemned is more
accurately described as follows:
1. Lots 4, 92 102 11 and 12 of Block 23, CAPITOL HILL
EXTENSION ADDITION to the City of Little Rock.
2. Lots 7 and 8 and the Southeast part of Lot 9 of Block
26, CAPITOL HILL EXTENSION ADDITION to the City of Little Rock.
3. North 107 feet 2 inches of Lot 4; North 107 feet 2 inches
of Lot 3; North 107 feet 2 inches of west 32 feet 7 inches of Lot 2,
all in Block 25, CAPITOL HILL EXTENSION ADDITION to the City of
Little Rock.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances -in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
