ORDINANCE NO. 9168
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THREE HUNDRED
AND TWELVE DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($312.50) FOR THE
PAYMENT OF ONE -HALF THE EXPENSE OF THE ARBITRATION
DISPUTE BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE CAPITAL TRANSPORTA-
TION COMPANY OVER EXTENSION OF THE OAK FOREST BUS
ROUTE, DIRECTING THE PAYMENT THEREOF TO JUDGE A. P.
STEELE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of Three Hundred and Twelve
Dollars and Fifty Cents (012.50) is hereby appropriated as
the City's share of the arbitration cost in the matter of the
arbitration dispute between the City and the Capital Trans-
portation Company over a request by the City of an.extension
of the Oak Forest bus route. That this sum is appropriated
to pay half the expenses of Judge A. P. Steele.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby directed to issue the City's warrant in the sum of
Three Hundred and Twelve Dollars and Fifty Cents 0312.50)
to Judge A. P. Steele of Texarkana, Arkansas, for the purpose
of defraying half his charge as the third arbitrator in the
aforesaid matter.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
