AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS FOR VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author-
ized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the
following items for use by the various departments for a period of
three months, beginning Lpril 20, 1953:
Meat for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 19800.00
Feed for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 750.00
Gasoline, oils, lubricants, tires, tubes and repairing
and retreading tires for various departments.
Bridge Lumber not to exceed 60,000 feet
