AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NO.
9oo6 BY CREATING AN ADDITIONAL POSITION OF ENGI-
NEERING AIDE IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTbJE NT, ESTAB-
LISHING THE SALARY THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 9006 be
hereby amended in part by creating an additional position of
Engineering Aide in the Engineering Department by changing the
Rollowing line -
42 1 Engineering Aide 295.00 315.00
to read as follows:
42 2 Engineering Aide 295.00 315.00
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the Public
Peace, Health and Safety of the citizens of the City of Little
Rock will be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is here-
by declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
SECTION 3. This additional position is created for a
period of time not to exceed six months (6).
