ORDINANCE NO. 9200
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF EIGHT THOUSAND
TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($8,250.00) FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PAYING FOR THE PURCHASE OF ALL THAT PART OF THE WEST
HALF OF BLOCK FIVE, PLUNKETT'S SUB - DIVISION OF FOREST
PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, WHICH LIES
SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 10, LOCATED WHOLLY WITHIN THE NORTH HALF
OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF
SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULAffi I
COUP, ARKANSAS, TO BE USED BY THE CITY FOR THE.ERECTION
OF A FIRE STATION THEREON, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Eight Thousand Two Hundred
and Fifty Dollars ($80250.00) is hereby appropriated out of the
proceeds of a bond issue sold by the City of Little Rock for
improvement of the Fire Department,said sum of money to be used
to purchase property described as:
All that part of the West half of Block 59 PLUNKETT f S
SUB - DIVISION of FOREST PARK AUDITION to the City of Little
Rock, which lies South of Highway 10, located wholly within
the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas,
which property is to be used for the purpose of erecting a fire
station thereon.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
directed to issue the City's warrants for said sum to William I.
Wade and William A. Wade and the Pulaski Federal Savings and Loan
Association and any other individual person or corporation which
may have an interest in said property.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
