AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9006
BY CREATING AN ADDITIONAL POSITION OF SERGEANT IN THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT; ESTABLISHING THE SALARY THEREFOR,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 14 of Ordinance No. 9006 be amended
in part by creating one additional position of Sergeant in the
Police Department by changing the following line:
17U 22 Sergeants 255.00 285.00
to read as follows:

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and unless provisions of this ordi-
nance are put into effect immediately, the Public Peace, Health
and Safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will be
adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
