AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AND WAIVING HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS NOT TO EXCEED
90 FEET IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT A FIVE STORY PLUS BASEMENT OFFICE BUILDING
ON LOTS SEVEN (7) THROUGH TEN (10) AND LOTS TWELVE (12) THROUGH FIFTEEN
(15), BEACH'S SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK THREE HUNDRED FORTY -FOUR (344), ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASs AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED:
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Lots seven (7) through ten (10) and Lots twelve
(12) through fifteen (15), Beach's Subdivision of Block three hundred
forty -four (344), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, being 14U to
1420 West Sixth Street and 1413 to 1423 West Fifth Street, heretofore
classified and zoned as "D" Apartment District under the terms of Zoning
Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is
hereby declared to be in "F" Commercial District under the terms of said
Zoning Ordinance, and a waiver of height requirements not to exceed 90
feet in order to construct a five story plus basement office building is
hereby granted.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map thereto
attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the
reclassification and rezoning of Lots seven (7) through ten (10) and
Lots twelve (12) through fifteen (15), Beach's Subdivision of Block three
hundred forty -four (344), Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
outlined in Section 1 hereof; said property to be hereafter known and
classified as being in "F" Commercial District and with height require-
` meats not to exceed 90 feet in order to construct a five story plus
basement office building waived as provided in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
