WHffiNAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two - thirds in
assessed value of the real property located within the territory hereinafter
described have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be established
for the purposes hereinafter not oat; and

tained that said petition was signed by more than two - thirds in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory;

MOTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district embracing the
following property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
West one -half ( ) of Block 2;
West one -half ( ) of Block 3;
All in Highland Park Addition to the City of Little Rock;
All of Blocks 3. 4. 5. 6, 13, 14 and 15;
South one -half (S1) of Block 12;
North one -half ( ) of Block 16;
Borth one -half ( ) of Block 17;
Lots 12, 13 and 14, in Block 17;
All. in Braddock's Addition to tho'City of Little Rock;
Part of NVJ SVJ NB}, Section 8, TU 21211, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the 7111 SW} 874 of Section 8,
TlN R12W, thence north 240 feet, thence east 220.5 feet, thence
south 42 feet, thence east 197.5 feet, thence Beath 58 feet, thence
east 250 feet to the east line of said 1* 311} ]*. thence south
140 feet to the Southeast Corner of said J* 811} HS}, thence west
668 feet to the point of beginning;
for the purpose of improving and paving, in such manner and with sunk materials as
the commissioners to be appointed for said improvement district shall determine to
be for the best interest of the district, the following parts of the following
streets; in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:.
Telmer Street from West 18th Street to West 20th Street;
Valentine Street from West lath Street to West 20th Street;

described, provided said improvement shall not exceed in cost sixty per centaur of the
value of the real property in said district, as skews by the last county assessment,
not including interest on borrowed money.
Said District shall be knows as Street Improvement District No. 595,and
J. T. Dozier, L. A. Rutledge, and L. R. Wofford, are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Beard of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
