WHKRRAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two- thirds in
assessed value of the real property located within the territory hereinafter
described have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be established
for the purposes hereinafter set eat; and
WEEMS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council oftho City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all pasties desiring to be heard, and has-

value of the owners of real property within said territory;

S&CTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district embracing the
following property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:

for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering, in sank matiaer and
with such materials as the commissioners; to be appointed for said improvement
district shall determine to be for the best interest of the district, the

and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any agency of the
federal or city government, be assessed and charged upon the real property above
described, provided said improvement shall not ezcoed in cost sixtyporr ooxkm of
the valve of the real property in said district, as shown by the last county
assessment, not including interest on borrowed money..
Said District shall be knowa as Garb and Satter Improvement District 50.596,
and d. 2. hosier, L. A. Rutledge, and L. R. Wofford, are herela named eomai.ssioners,
who`sholl compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
SSCTION 2. This ordinance shall tame effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
