ORDINANCE N0. 9253
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE TERM OF ANY MEMBER OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF NATURAL HIS-
TORY AND ANTIQUITIES SHALL BE TERMINATED IF SUCH MEMBER
MISSES THREE CONSECUTIVE MEETINGS, AMENDING ORDINANCES NO.
06, _ 6325 -AND 9012, AND FOR OTBER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1.
That
Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 5906
as amend-
ed by Ordinance No.
6325 as
amended by
Ordinance No. 9012
is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"The number of members on the Board of Trustees of the
Arkansas Museum of Natural History and Antiquities is hereby increased
from five (5) to seven (7). The Superintendent of Parks and Recrea-
tion shall serve as Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas
Museum of Natural History and Antiquities without power to vote.
Should any member of this Commission fail to attend three (3) consecu-
tive meetings, the term of such member shall automatically terminate
and a new member shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the
City Council to fill the unexpired term of the aforesaid member whose
term is terminated."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
