AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND
PURCHASE NEW OR USED FURNITURE FOR EQUIPPING THE
THREE NEW FIRE STATIONS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and
purchase either new or used furniture for the purpose of
equipping three new fire stations now being built by the
City of Little Rock. That the total cost of said
furniture shall not exceed the sum of Eight Hundred
Dollars (800.00).
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
