AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF SANTA FE AVENUE
IN C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, RUNNING SOUTH -
FASTERIY ACROSS BLOCKS 8, 91 AND TO WEST LINE OF ALLEY IN BLOCK 10
EXCEPT WHERE IT CROSSES TAYLOR STREET AND FAIR PARK BOULEVARD AND THE
ALLEY BETWEEN TAYLOR STREET AND FAIR PARK BOULEVARD; AND THAT CERTAIN
PORTION OF ,ARKANSAS AVENUE IN C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO -THE CITY OF,
LITTLE ROCK THAT RUMS SOUTHEASTERLY ACROSS BLOCKS.14 AND PART.OR 13
TO NEST LINE ON ;ALLEY IN BIOCK 13, EXCEPT INHERE IT CROSSES FAIR PARK
BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the City of

Little Rock, Arkansas,? a�ng the City Council to vacate and abandon all that
portion of Santa Fe and Arkansas Avenues designated on the plat of C. 0. Brack's
Addition to said city now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 166, in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, said portions of said streets
being designated as follows:
"That part of Santa Fe Avenue in C. 0. Brack's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, starting on the south line of West 30th Street,
being the north line of Block 8; running across the northeast
corner of Block 8 and thence in a southeasterly direction across
Taylor Street and Block 9 to the west line of Fair Park Boulevard;
thence from the east line of Fair Park Boulevard, southeasterly
across Block 10 to the west line of the.alley in Block 10.
"That part of Arkansas Avenue starting at the west line of Block
14, and running thence southeasterly across Block 14 and Block
13 to the west line of the alley in Block 13.
"Except where Santa Fe Avenue crosses Taylor Street and Fair Park
Boulevard, and except where Arkansas Avenue crosses Fair Park
Boulevard and except where Santa Fe Avenue crosses the alley be-
tween Taylor Street and Fair Park Boulevard."
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the council has, at the
time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard
on the question and has ascertained that the portions of the streets herein -
before described,hA.VO heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street
.mss described; hwmnot been acts ely used by the publie gener&U7 for a
period of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all
the owners of the property abutting upon the portions of the streets to be va-
cated have filed with the Council their written consent to such abandonment; and
that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment
of such portions of said streets
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:

Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates
and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally,
in and to the portions of streets designated as follows:
"That part of Santa Fe Avenue in C. 0. Brack's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, starting on.the south line of West 30th
Street, being the north line of Block 8; running across the
northeast corner of Block 8 and thence in a southeasterly
direction across Taylor Street and Block 9 to the west line
of Fair Park Boulevard; thence from the east line of Fair
Park Boulevard, southeasterly across Block 10 to the west line
of the alley in Block 10.
"That part of Arkansas Avenue starting at the west line of Block
14, and running thence southeasterly across Block 14 and Block
13 to the west line of the alley in Block 13.
"Except where Santa Fe Avenue crosses Taylor Street and Fair
Park Boulevard, and except where Arkansas Avenue crosses Fair
Park Boulevard and except where Santa Fe Avenue crosses the
alley between Taylor Street and Fair Park Boulevard."
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the office of the recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
recorded in the Deed Records of this County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
