AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE INCREASED FIRE PROTECTION FOR
TYPE V UNSPRINKLERED BUILDINGS, AM UDING SECTION 907
OF ORDINANCE NO. 78881, KNOWN AS THE BUILDING CODES
DECLARING AN EMF,'RGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, j
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 907 of Ordinance No. 7888,
oo1amenly known as the Little Rock Building Code, is hereby
apeo4ied b'y adding to the end of said section the following:
Automatic fire alarm systems shall be installed in all
unpprinklbr'ed type V buildings containing Division 3
occupancies.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in +conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and since this
ordinance;'.1p necessary to the peace, health and safety of
persona living in this type o) building, an emergency is
�her ebg d� 3Ared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect immediately upon its passage and
approval.
