AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $300.00 TO SEND THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND ZOO
DIRECTOR TO A MEETING OF THE NATIONAL PARKS AND
ZOO CONVENTION TO BE HELD AT DENVER, COLORADO,
SEPTEMBER 14 -18, 1953, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK-,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of Three Hundred Dollars (300.00)
is hereby appropriated to pay the expenses of the Superintendent
of Parks and Recreation and the Zoo Director incurred in attend-
ing the National Parks and Zoo Convention to be held at Denver,
Colorado, September 14 to 18, 1953
SECTION 2, The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
directed to issue the City's warrantsto the Superintendent of
Parks and Recreation and to the Zoo Director for any expenses
which they may be able to show they incurred in attending the
National Parks and Zoo Convention, provided that such expenses
shall not exceed the sum of $300.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
