9329- , 0 ORDINANCE No. 9329 AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THE REMOVAL AND RAZING OF ALL. BUILDINGS ON PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 2 AND 3 OF BLOCK 13, CAPITOL HILL EXTENSION ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, WHICH.BUILDINGS CONSTITUTE A FIRE, HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD TO THE PROPERTY OF THE CITIZENS OF LITTLE ROCK; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION TO COMPEL SUCH REMOVAL AND RAZING OF SAID BUILDINGS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE 'SOCK, A� , WSA6: SECTION 1. That the buildings located on property described as Lots 2 and 3. Block 13, Capitol Hill Extension Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, otherwise known as 805 Thayer, 807 payer, 813 Thayer and 815 Thayer Street, constitute a safety, health and fire hazard to the citizens of Little Rock from which fires and disease might develop and spread to other structures and to the citizens of Little Rock. SECTION 2. That the owners of such property are hereby ordered to raze and remove the buildings on Lots 2 and 3, Block 13, Capitol Hill Extension Addition to the City of Little Rock, known as 805 Thayer, 807 Thayer, 813 Thayer and 815 Thayer Street, so that all hazards to the safety and health of the citizens of Little Rock may be removed. SECTION 3. That said buildings on the aforesaid described property shall be removed within thirty (30) days from the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 4- That the City Attorney is hereby directed to take such action and to institute such legal proceedings against such persons as it may be necessary to do for the purpose of and in order to enforce the provisions of this ordinance and to remedy the dangerous and unsightly conditions, the fire hazards and the health conditions which the said buildings on the afore - said property constitute to the safety, from fire and health hazards, of the citizens of Little Rock, Arkansas. SECTION 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in _2_ conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and unless the provisions Of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public peace, health and safety of the people of Little Rock, Arkansas, will be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
