AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PUR-
CHASE FIVE CARS FOR USE BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMEMT, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARYANW:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for and
purchase five (5) cars for use by the Health Department of
the City of Little Rock. That the cost of these cars shall
not exceed the sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($6,500.00), plus the trade -in allowance on two 1946 Chevrolet
coupes, one 1942 four-door Ford car and two 1942 two -door Ford
sedans.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in eonflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
