AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE TAX$ BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE CERTAIN ITES FOR VARIOUS
DEPARTS, AND FOR OTH& PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARIANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author-
iced and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the
following items for use by the various departments for a period of
three months, beginning October 19, 1953:
Heat for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 19800.00
Feed for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 750.00
Gasoline, oils, lubricants, tires, tubes and repairing
and retreading tires for various departments.
Bridge lumber not to exceed 60,000 feet
Cement not to exceed 600 bags
