AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR THE POSITION OF FINANCE
OFFICER OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the position of Finance Officer of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas was established by Ordinance No. 6980, passed
April 15, 1916; and
NHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
has performed the duties of said position of Finance Officer for many
years without compensation therefor; and
WHEREAS, there should be compensation for the performing of
the many duties required of said Finance Officer; Na`J, THEREFORE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby fixed and established and there
shall be paid from the General Funds of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas to the Finance Officer of the City for his duties as Finance
Officer a salary of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars per month,
which said salary shall be in addition to any salary received by said
official from any other source.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after January 1, 1954•
