AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE TEN (10) ADDITIONAL POSITIONS OF
PATROLMAN IN THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, ESTAB-
LISHING THE SALARIES THEESFOR; AMENDING IN PART SECTION
14 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 9006 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there are hereby created, effective as of April 1, 1954,
ten (10) additional positions of Patrolman in the Little Rock Police Department,
whose salaries are hereby established in accord with the provisions of Ordi-
nances Nos. 9006 and 9436 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That that part of Section 14 of Ordinance No. 9006 which
refers to ninety positions of Patrolman be hereby increased to 100 positions
of Patrolman by amending said part of Section 14 to read as follows:

SECTION 3. A11 parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance and this ordinance
shall be effective from and after April 1, 1954•
