AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ENTER INTO AAD CONTRACT WITH THE
NECESSARY UTILITY COMPANIES FOR THE MOVEMENT, EXCHANGE,
AND CORRECTION OF UTILITY INSTALLATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE
OF INSTALLING THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM FOR THE FIRE DE-
PARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to enter into and approve any changes
that are necessary in order that the Fire Alarm System for the
Fire Department of the City of Little Rock may be installed,
attached to, and serviced by the utility companies of the City
Of Little Rock.
SECTION Z. That the Board of Public Affairs shall enter
into contracts for the payment of services to be rendered by
the utility companies in conjunction with and in relation to
placing into operation the Fire Alarm System in accord with
specifications heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
