AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHINx STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 602
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a two-thirds (2/3) majority
in assessed value of the property located within the territory hereinafter
described have filed -a petition praying thfkt , Upxovement district be
bushed for the purpose hereinafter set out; and;
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring to be heard, and has
ascertained that said petition was signed by more than a two-thirds (2/3)
majority of the owners of real property within said territory;
Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
SEC U gF 1. There is hereby established a street improvement district embrac-
ing the following property: The WJ of Blocks 36, 37 and 44 of Cherry and Cox
Addition to Little Rock, Arkansas; Lot 7, Block 29 of Cherry and Cox Addition
to Little Rock, Arkansas; also the W-'�T of the SWJ of Sec. 7, Twp. One (1) N,
R 12 W, in Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the pur-
pose of constructing an improved street beginning at the North boundary line
of West 20th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, where the same crosses Fillmore
Street, and run South on Fillmore Street, ending at the North boundary line
of West 23rd Street, Little Rock, ti
Arkansas. Construct to be of two inch
asphaltic concrete wearing surface, with a width overall of 25 feet, including
a combination concrete curb and gutter and drainage thereof as found necessary.
SEO'TT0 2. Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District No. 602
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Andrew E. Harrelson, Cecil A. Bates,
and William M. Moorhead are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the
Board of Improvement for said district.
