AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING HOURLY RATES OF PAY FOR
DECK BOYS AND POOL CLEANERS AT THE CURRAN CONWAY
MUNICIPAL SWLINS ING POOL AND GILLAM PARK SWDUAING POOL,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9006 AS AMENDED, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
SECTION7. Effective June 19, 1954, the Deck Boys and the
Pool Cleaners at the Curran Conway Municipal Swimming Pool and
Gillam Park Swimming Pool will be paid on an hourly basis instead
of a daily rate as follows:
Deck Boys ........ 75¢ per hour not to exceed 2 hours per day
per boy
Pool Cleaners ...$1.25 per hour not to exceed 2 hours per day
SECTION 2. per bop
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed and unless provisions of this ordinance are
put into effect immediately, the Public Peace, Health and Safety
of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will be adversely
affected; therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
