AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF THE
ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST AND ALL THAT PORTION OF
THE ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH IN BLACK 2 OF WINIFRED
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petitinn was duly filed with the City Council of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 13 day of July, 1954 asking the City Council.
to vacate and abandon a.portion of the alley running east and west and
all that portion of the alley running north and south in Block 2 of Wini-
fred Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, now appearing in
Plat Book 2, page 155•
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has, at the
time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be
heard on the question and has ascertained that the alleys, hereinabove
described, have heretofore been dedicated to the public use, and have not
been used by the public generally for a period of at least five years sub-
sequent to the filing of the plat; that the owners of all the property
abutting upon the portion of the alleys to be vacated have filed with the
Council their written consent to such abandonment; and that the public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such portion
of the said alleys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to that portm of the alleys designated as follows:
All that portion of the alley running north and south and
a portion of the alley running east and west in Block 2
of Winifred Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
now appearing in Plat Book 2, page 155, which is bounded on
the west by the west line of said Block 2, on the north by
the south line of Lots 12 2 and 3, and on the south by the
north line of Lot 14, and on the east by an extension of the east
line of said Lot 3; also that portion running north and south
bounded on the north by the north line of Block 14, on the
south by the south line of said Block 2, on the west by the
east boundary line of Lots 10, 11„ 12, 1-�, and 14 and on the
east by the west line of Lots 7, 8 and 9.

SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in 'tie Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
