AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE THE POSITION OF FIRE ALARM SUPERINTENDENT
IN THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY THEREOF,
AMENDING SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9006 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created the position of Fire Alarm Superintendent
in the Fire Department who shall be under the supervision and direction of the Chief
of the Fire Department. Said Fire Alarm Superintendent shall meet the qualifications
of a Fireman as set forth in the Civil Service Law and said Superintendent shall be
paid as per the provisions of Ordinances No. 9006 and 9436•
SECTION 2. Section 10 of Ordinance No. 9006 is hereby amended in part by adding
the following line:
24U 1 Fire Alarm Superintendent 290.00 320.00
SECTION 3. The provisions of this ordinance shall be effective from and after
its passage and approval and all ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby amended
to conform to the provisions of this ordinance.
