AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO
BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE NORTH 50
FEET OF LOTS 1 AND 2, AND THE NORTH 50 FEET OF THE
EAST 40 FEET OF LOT 3, BLOCK 256, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS TO BE USED BY
THE CITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVER FRONT
DRIVE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARSAS,•,
SECTION 1. That the City Attorney's office is hereby di-
rected to bring proceedings for the condemnation of the North
50 Feet of Lots 1 and 2, and the North 50 Feet of the East 40
Feet of Lot 3, Block 256, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, Pulaski
.• County, Arkansas. The above property is necessary for the con-
struction of the River Front Drive.
SECTION 2. That the City Attorney's Office is further
directed to secure a court order allowing the City to take
immediate possession of the aforesaid property upon its post-
ing bond in an amount to be determined by the Court. The city
Attorney's Office is further authorized to have posted on be-
half of the City a bond in the amount determined by the Court
pending determination of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
