AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE TO
BRING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE EAST 35
FEET OF LOT 3, BLACK 1, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS TO BE USED BY THE CITY FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVER FRONT DRIVE, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1, That the City Attorneyts Office is hereby di-
rected to bring proceedings for the condemnation of the East
35 Feet of Lot 3, Block 1, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
Pulaski County, Arkansas. The above property is necessary for
the construction of the River Front Drive.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney's Office is further directed
to secure a court order allowing the City to take immediate
possession of the aforesaid property upon its posting bond in
an amount to be determined by the Court. The City Attorney's
Office is further authorized to have posted on behalf of the
City a bond in the amount determined by the Court pending de-
termination of the condemnation proceedings.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and ap-
proval.
