AN ORDINANCE ALITHUkdZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, ANDPUR-
CHASE ONE THOUSAND POUNDS OF BARE COPPER X RE, FIFTY
STREET LIGHT FIXTURES, AND CNE CARLOAD OF CREOSOTED
PINE POLES FOR USE BY THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
.ARKANSAS:.
SECTION 1, The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase one thousand
(1,000) pounds of bare copper wire, fifty (50) street light fixtures,
and one carload (approximately 100) 30 foot, Class 7, creosoted pine
poles, for use by the Electric Department of the City of Little Rock*
SECTION 2. The cost of such wire shall not exceed the sum of
$450.00, the cost of such street light fixtures shall not exceed the
sum of $665.00, and the cost of such poles shall not exceed the sun
of $1,250.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
