AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE 10000 POUNDS OF BROOM WIRE AND 19000 POUNDS OF
CALABAR BASS FIBER FOR USE OF THE STREET CLEANING
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AT A COST NOT
TO EXCEED $500.00, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase 1,000 pounds of Broom Wire and 1,000 pounds of Calabar
Bass Fiber for use of the Street Cleaning Department of the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That the cost of said Broom Wire and Calabar
Bass Fiber shall not exceed the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
