AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE i%AYOR AND CI`T'Y CLERK TO
EXECUTE AN EASEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK TO THE ARKANSAS LOUISIANA GAS COMPANY TO A PART
OF LOT 5, BLOCK 34, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, DESCRIBED AS BEGINNING AT A POINT 15.5 FEET
NORTH OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 5; THENCE WEST
PARALLEL TO TBE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 5, A DISTANCE OF
31.0 FEET; THENCE SOUTH ALONG A LINE PARALLEL TO THE
WEST LINE OF LOT 5, A DISTANCE OF 12.0 FEET; THENCE
EAST ALONG A LINE PARALLEL TO THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT
5, A DISTANCE OF 12.0 FEET; THENCE NORTH ALONG A LINE
PARALLEL TO THE EAST LINE OF LOT 5, A DISTANCE OF
12.0 FEET; THENCE EAST A DISTANCE OF 19.0 FEET TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T�� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a perpetual easement on
behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the Arkansas
Louisiana Gas Company to the following described real property,
situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
That part of Lot 5, Block 34, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, Arkansas, described as: Beginning at a point
15.5 feet North of the Southeast corner of Lot 5;
thence West parallel to the South line of Lot 5, a
distance of 31.0 feet; thence South along a line
parallel to the West line of Lot 5, a distance of 12.0
feet; thence East along a line parallel to the South
line of Lot 5, a distance of 12.0 feet; thence North
along a line parallel to the East line of Lot 5, a
distance of 12.0 feet; thence East a distance of 19.0
feet to point of beginning, with full and perpetual
rights of ingress and egress to said tract over other
parts of said Lot 5 and over the area now used as the
alley which runs along the North line of said Lot 5.
SECTION 2. That the consideration for the execution of
this easement is Ten ($10.00) Dollars cash and the terms, con-
ditions and reservations in a deed executed by the said Arkan-
sas Louisiana Gas Company to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
of other real property situated in Block 34, ORIGINAL CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and ap-
proval.
