BE',xvoRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,'ARKANSAS:
> SECTION 1. That Paragraph H of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373 as amended by Paragraph
D of Section l of Ordinance 8319 and Paragraph ,J of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373, be,and
the same are hereby amended so as to read as follows:

"The Capitol Transit Company is authorized to use the following temporary route
.t- until such time as the Coleman Creek Bridge on West Markham is replaced:
Turn south on Van Buren Street into War'Memorial Park to tke first intersection with a
road running northwest through War Memorial Golf Course, thence along said route to
Markham Street."
SECTION' 2. That Paragraph N of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373 be, and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 4. It'appewring to -be in the interest of the public welfare that bus
service be immediately installed to serve the new St. Vincentts Infirmary, and that in--
order that oper:.service may be given to'tie citizens of this area, changes in some
of_the:s or routes now bein& operated by Capitol Transit Company are necessary; and

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Paragraph H of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373 as amended by Paragraph
D of Section 1 of Ordinance 8319 and Paragraph J of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373, be and
the same are hereby amended so as to read as follows:
11H. The line known as 1"1o. 9 - West 7th Street Route and the line known as i':o. 8 -
Stifft Station Route, are hereby consolidated and shall be known as ','Test 7th Street -
St. Vincentts Line, and is as follows:

Street; west on West Markham to the entrance roadway to the State Hospital and the

to Barber Avenue; north on Barber to l4th Street; thence over same route as outbound
to 7th and Main Streets."
SECTION 3. That Paragraph 171 of Section 1 of Ordinance 7373, as amended by Para-
graph G of Section 1 of Ordinance 8319, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
'Ilvl. The line known as No. 5 - Biddle Shop Route, is as follows:
Beginning at Markham and Main Streets; thence south on Bain Street to 11th Street,
east on 14th Street to Dock Street; south on Rock Street to 21st Street; east on 21st
Street to Vance Street; south on Vance Street to Roosevelt Road; east on Roosevelt
Road to Confederate Boulevard; south on Confederate Boulevard to Booker Homes turn-
around loop, returning over the same route to point of beginning."
SECTION 4. It appearing to be in the interest of the public welfare that bus
service be immediately installed to serve the new St. Vincentts Infirmary, and that in
order that proper service may be given to tl-e citizens of this area, changes in some
of the lines or routes now being operated by Capitol Transit Company are necessary; and
it being in the interest of the public welfare to establish the above - described routes
without delay, and it being found by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas that immediate passage of this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation
of the Public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared and this Ordin-
ance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage.
