135951 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 RESOLUTION NO. 13,595 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SUBMISSION OF THE 2013 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR CDBG, HOME AND HOPWA ENTITLEMENT FUNDS TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City has access to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME and HOPWA Funds on an annual basis; and, WHEREAS, the use of these monies mandates that an action plan be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development by November 15, 2012, in accordance with Title I of the Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990; and, WHEREAS, after extensive public discussion and citizen participation, including neighborhood meetings, and a public hearing, a plan has been developed for submission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 2013 Annual Action Plan for CDBG, HOME and HOPWA Entitlement Funds to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, by November 15, 2012, in accordance with the provisions of the Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990. Section 2. The projected uses of these funds were approved by adoption of Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 13,555 (August 21, 2012). Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
