AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE OR CONDEMN LANDS TO BE
USED AS SANITARY LAND -FILL FOR THE LITTLE ROCK GARBAGE
& SANITATION DEPARTMENT, TO BE PAID OUT OF THE GARBAGE
PLANT CONSTRUCTION FUND, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to contract to purchase or condemn
lands to be used as sanitary land -fill for the Little Rock
Garbage & Sanitation Department.
SECTION 2. That the purchase price for said lands pur-
chased or condemned to be used as a sanitary land -fill shall
be paid out of the Garbage Plant Construction Fund.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
